Spalling off oxidative scale on high temperature heating surfaces test bed
 

Functions and support areas:Simulate and research the operating features of high-temperature heating surfaces of supercritical (ultra-supercritical) units, analyze the conditions of effect of temperature changes on spalling off oxidative scale and carry out the research on spalling characteristics of oxidative skin of material steam corrosion pipes. It can provide bases for preventing the four-tube leakage resulting from the spalling off oxidative scale of high-temperature heating surfaces and offer supports for the development of heating surface monitoring system of boilers and the safe and economical operation of supercritical (ultra-supercritical) boilers. It is the first set of test bed used for research on spalling properties of oxdiative scale in China.

Instruments and equipment :The main equipment is a pre-evacuated box-type atmosphere furnace.
Parameters and technical level :

    Dimensions of effective heating area: 400*400*60mm
    Uniformity of boiler temperature (It refers to 4 measuring points in the test sample area of work piece.):
        ±5℃ (The temperature rise rate is 0.5~2℃/min.)
        ±10℃ (The temperature rise rate is 3-10℃/min.)
    The deviation of temperature rise rate in the area of 4 measuring points of work piece is not more than ±0.5℃/min.
    Temperature reduction is controllable and the temperature reduction rate is less than 1℃/min.

Allowable research work :The spalling off oxidative scale test bed of high-temperature heating surface of boilers is mainly used for carrying out the test research on spalling off oxidative scale of high-temperature heating surfaces of boilers of supercritical (ultra-supercritical) units. By controlling temperature rise and temperature reduction rates, it simulates the influence factors for spalling off oxidative scale of high-temperature heating surfaces in the startup and shutdown process of boilers. With the test research, summarize the causes of tube blockage and burst resulting from centralizedspalling off oxidative scale of high-temperature heating surfaces, establish operation prevention mechanisms, provide instructions for optimized operation, prevent the tube blockage and burst resulting from centralized spalling off oxidative scale of high-temperature heating surfaces, and and improve the operation safety level of boilers.
